Everybody Stops and They Staring at Me I'm Sexy and I Know It♚ Finn Beaulieu-Kingston ♚ Finn headed down with a group of Gryffindors to the carnival. It was great, having such an event to go to. They'd just barely gotten into our schoolwork, but it was nice to have something to break up the schoolwork. It's not as though we needed it, but it was to welcome all of them back. Who would argue with this? Not me. So he just took to the opportunity to have a good time and headed with a few of hishousemates down to the carnival.
The first place. Games. There was no way Finn was going to go on Lover's Lake boat ride. That was for romancers. Finn didn't have anyone he was in the mood to be romancing right about now. The same thing was for the Ferris Wheel. No. He wasn't in the mood to be whooing any of the girls here tonight. He just wanted to have fun, and his idea of fun wasn't filling a girl's head with lots of nonsense just to make them think he liked them. Not that he didn't like them, he just would rather spend time with his house tonight.
He headed to one of my favorite games. Dunk the Professor. Prof. Parker was sitting on the seat, and I laughed along with my housemates. One of them handed me the balls. “Give it all you've got, B-K!” Finn laughed, taking the balls from him. “You're going down, Parker.” He laughed and Finn lifted the first ball, pulling it back and tossing it at the target. DING! Finn had hit the target dead on, and down Parker went into the water. SPLASH! The Gryffindor housemates and Finn laughed out loud as Parker came up out of the water, laughing as well. At least he had a sense of humor. Why would he be up there if he didn't?

[/style] [atrb=border,0,true] Nicolette walked slowly across the grassy lawn toward the carnival that the staff had prepared to start out the new year. To be completely honest, she was quite excited. Any excuse to go out and have a good time was reason to be happy in her opinion. Plus, she figured it'd be a pretty simple way to sneak over to the Forbidden Forest for a quick smoke session later on. But for now, she was satisfied with taking a look at all the events. She was definitely steering clear of the black alike; why someone would want to go on that stupid fucking ride, she had no idea. She'd probably avoid the Ferris Wheel for the most part too. What was so fun about going around in circles? That left eating, dancing or playing games since it wasn't late enough for the firework show yet. She wasn't hungry, and she doubted that there was anyone there yet. Or at least, she doubted there was anyone that was worth her attention. So the games. Well, at least she had a chance of winning a prize.
Nic walked past game after game that didn't interest her. It didn't help that she was pretty picky about what she liked to do, but just everything seemed so...boring. Not just the games, but the people around them. Half-bloods and Mudbloods seemed to be everywhere, and they were all jumping around and laughing. It was disgusting. Nicolette merely scoffed and moved on, looking for something or someone that could hold her attention. And then she heard a very particular voice that she loved to hear (unless he was following the rules). Ah, Finnegan. Yes, Nicolette definitely didn't mind the sound of his voice, especially in comparison to everyone else's voices around. And look at that: he was trying to dunk a teacher. Now that was perfect.
Nicolette sauntered toward him, making sure her hips swayed seductively, not that she needed to. Her short, black body con dress hugged her tighter than a child clinging to his mother on the first day of school. She was glad she had thought of charming her heels so they wouldn't sink into the grass; that would have made it a bit more difficult to be "seductive." Reaching Finnegan, she placed her hand on his shoulder, standing just slightly behind him, making sure she was just an inch or so away from him.
"Nice through," she whispered into his ear before running her hand down his arm. "Mind helping me throw?"
