JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Figure out just what you have to do once you find your job.

Headmistress/Headmaster: The Headmistress (or Headmaster) is in charge of running the school and taking care of the political end of things. They make sure that any supplies that need to be ordered are ordered, that the students are safe, make sure the rest of staff are doing their jobs and act as a liaison to the Ministry (at least in recent years). He or she will also step in for a professor if a certain professor can not perform his or her duties for any reason. The Headmistress or Headmaster must be at least 35.

Deputy Headmaster/Headmistress: The Deputy Headmistress (or Headmaster) takes care of duties delegated by the Headmistress. He or she should be a head of house and a professor. The Deputy Headmistress will have just as much, if not more, work as the Headmistress. Besides taking care of their house and classes, they will also need to help oversee the other professors to make sure they're performing their jobs. The Deputy Headmaster or Headmistress must be at least 30.

Heads of Houses: The Heads of Houses also hold another position at Hogwarts, whether it be a professor, librarian or mediwitch. Heads of Houses must oversee their house and all of the students in their house. When students are in trouble, oftentimes they will be taken to the head of house to decide their punishment, though not always. They must also take an extra shift patrolling the grounds. Heads of Houses must be at least 25.

Hogwarts' Professors: Hogwarts' professors are in charge of running classes, grading assignments and teaching the students everything they can within their subject. Professors, as well as all other staff positions at Hogwarts, are allowed to reward and dock house points. Professors are expected to stay up-to-date with the latest research and discoveries in their field, and they are expected to patrol the castle at night at least three times a week. All professors must post a class at least once during every in-character month to remain in their position. How they run their classes are up to the professor's discretion. Hogwarts' Professors must be at least 22.

Hogwarts' Librarian: The librarian is in charge of maintaining the library and keeping it orderly. They are also expected to keep students out of the restricted section. The librarian has a right to kick students out of the library. The Hogwarts' librarian must be at least 22.

Hogwarts' Mediwitch: The mediwitch is in charge of taking care of all sick and/or injured students sent to the infirmary. They must have been certified through St. Mungo's or some other wizarding hospital. The Hogwarts' mediwitch must be at least 22.
