Wentworth DavenportWentworth Davenport, head of house Slytherin and Transfiguration professor. Obsessive, perfectionistic, independent, charming, sharp, rude, individualistic, the list could literally go on for eons. He has a checkered past as a dark wizard, nothing was ever proven but he has always been kept an eye on. This former curse-breaker worket at Gringotts for years until he lost his daughter and fell into depression. This state of mind would later lead to him loosing his job. Therefore, he joined the faculty at Hogwarts, being the skilled wizard that he is. Wentworth is the kind of person who looks to his front, meaning that dwelling on his part isn’t something he tends to do. Although, suppressing his past might be a better word for it. He's still a dark arts practitioner, one can sometimes find him wandering the restricted section at night, looking for new pieces of dark knowledge. In order to keep this a secret, he spouts lies, devices strategies and has forced himself to forget the meaning of the word trust, all to keep himself out of Azkaban. The question is, will these.. extracurricular activities of his eventually lead to his demise? Could he be one of the professors teaching the students dark magic? FriendsWentworth tend to show a lot more interest in the intellectual and powerful. This applies to both students and adults. Simply being nice isn’t going to cut it here, one has to be interesting. Possessing the attributes listed above is a good way of gaining his interest, but having a colorful past could very well get his attention. Having to shortage of charisma and intellectual properties, it is not entirely unreasonable that some would find themselves sharing a moment or two with the Transfiguration professor every once in a while. LoversOne of his many previous ex-wives, Elizabeth Fritzpatrick, played by the lovely Rissa, has recently taken up permanent residence at Hogwarts which naturally rouses Wentworth’s interests, her being his favorite wife by far. Nothing’s set in stone just yet, however. He’s hardly spoken for, so involving a third party isn’t entirely unthinkable. EnemiesWentworth is very good at making it clear who he likes and doesn’t like. Sloppy, slow, lazy, and careless people not only disinterests him but annoys him on a very deep level. This is not only a deal breaker to the victims of his annoyance but also those who disapproves of this style of his. His rude and slightly egotistic self could lead some people to disliking him as well. Wentworth doesn’t try to make enemies, but they have a habit of seeking him out.

Sarafina & Wentworth Sarafina doesn't like Wentworth. She knows of his past with dark magic (thanks to her years as an auror), and she doesn't trust him. However, since she works under him she bit her tongue...until now. Now she's pulling out all the guns and holding nothing back. She's coming out guns blazing.

Thadeus and Wentworth
I imagine if Wentworth practises dark magic, he'd know all about Thadeus' father's rather 'untoward' practises and involvement in certain 'dark' activities. Thadeus Tarquin VI is a powerful, influential and rich wizard who no doubt knows of Wentworth's previous 'doubts' and will want the professor to teach Thadeus (VII) a little of the good stuff ;P
On a more Thadeus (VII) note, I can see Wentworth enjoying Thadeus' company, if only cause they share similiar qualities, thoughts and ideas, of course it might be harder than you think to turn the posh boy into a wielder of dark arts, or it might be easy. All depends on his moods and his head-aches.

Wentworth and Sarafina Although Wentworth has nothing against her (except for being a ministry bitch in his mind) he'll do everything to keep her from learning anything that could incriminate him, whatever it takes. It's all about self-preservation.
Wenworth and Thadeus Oh, Thadeus will definitely be on his good side. I can also imagine him having some connection to Thadeus' father. Although, there will have to be some interest on Thadeus' part for him to consider teaching him the dark arts. It wouldn't surprise me if he were to encourage Thadeus to "broaden his horizons", though. Another possibility is that his father might be blackmailing Wentworth or maybe he owes him for something. I could definitely see all this happening.

Kit and Professor Davenport
Kit has a secret crush on Professor Davenport. The only person who might know this is Nicolette, but that's a HUGE might. Nothing would or rather SHOULD ever happen between these two, especially since it would be cool if Wentworth and Trynithus (Kit's papa) were friends through their years at Hogwarts, and maybe throughout the years haven't lost touch but aren't necessarily going to go out and have a beer in Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley anytime soon. But, yeah, I was thinking that maybe they would have had a few meetings throughout the years and Kit has always looked up to him, and when she was younger would pretend she was getting married to him. Now, that she is older, it's purely physical. You won't see her dawning a veil and prancing around. She doesn't play dressup, she doesn't pretend (unless she's manipulating someone) and she certainly doesn't believe in marriage anymore. She's simply highly sexed and thinks her papa's old chum is f*cking fine! Lemme know! Of course, I'm fine with her just admiring the talented professor.

Bess & Wentworth (WB) Bess says she's not letting him in ever again. She almost lost herself in the end of her marriage to him. It would have been so easy to succumb to darkness just to be a part of his life completely as she wanted to be, but she was sure not even that would open him up to her. She wouldn't sacrifice herself just to be with him, no matter how much she loves him. The deepest part of her being says she wants him more than anything and is willing to give up anything just to be with him, but she does her best to fight that feeling. These two may never be able to live in a perfect world together. It is quite possible Wen will never open up to her like she wants it, and that would always keep them truly apart. But the temptation is there, like no other, and it would be so easy for both of them to fall back into things the way they were before their marriage started to dissolve. Bess would like to know what she has to do for them both to live in a world where there was no magic and they could live happily ever after... a place like that doesn't exist.

Wentworth and Miss Travers Hot for teacher, huh? I like it. Kit is no doubt on his good side. Her father has surely asked him to look after her so that gives him even more reason to be her side. He's probably vaguely aware of the fact that she's got a crush on him. Wentworth has nothing against being admired so he doesn't exactly discourage it but since he's old enough to be her father and he's actually friends with her father, he choses not to encourage it either. It's hard for him not to smirk at that fact that a teenage girl that all the boys want to get with is into him, though.
Wentworth and Bess Wentworth never wanted her go, but deep down he didn't really want to drag her into his secret life either. Although he certainly wanted to trust her, it's just not in his nature. During the years between their divorce and reencounter he has put their past behind him. He almost acts like he has forgotten all about their marriage. He simply views her as an old flame that he wouldn't mind rekindling, though, he himself knows deep down that there's more to it than that.

Wentworth and Billie
Billie could get along fairly well with Wentworth because she is also one of the ones who may be teaching the Dark Arts to students. Plus she can totally relate to the marriages ending badly and the depression situation he is in because she has been in similar. She thinks that he would possibly be someone that she could get along with.

Wentworth and Billie I thought she was definitely one of those who are teaching the students dark magic? Wentworth may begin to teach Thadeus but that's how far it goes for now. Also, he isn't really in a depressive state, he was, but now he has gotten out of it. That's a pretty big difference between the two. Wentworth has a way of ignoring the bad things in his past while Billie(and this is just my personal observation, please stop me if I'm wrong) let's them define her. From what I understand, Billie uses this facade that pictures her as nice, caring and optimistic. While that's all well and good, I don't think Wentworth would find that very interesting. Could Wentworth get along with her? Sure, but that doesn't mean he would be intrigued by her.

I think Professor Davenport and Jamie would be an interesting thing to rp. They'd most likely have a troubled history, Maybe Wentworth dislikes him for being lazy and irresponsible but at the same time realizes that Jamie is very skilled, inventive and has both charm and charisma. Wentworth wouldn't necessarily approve that Jamie uses his skills for pranking, joking around and what not so they would have that problem, but maybe he's trying to make it a goal to change him to be more like what he wants due to that he has the other traits he looks for? Maybe he's hard on Jamie a lot. Jamie has taken it as a personal insult and threat that people are practicing and teaching the dark arts at Hogwarts as his father has done things to him at his home and hogwarts is his second home. He has made it his personal goal and obligation to root out the people. He uses the Room of Requirement for this. Jamie is prone to rule breaking and will sneak out to try and find out what the teachers are doing at night as well as any other students that are out. Maybe Professor Davenport is his prime suspect and Jamie will use his skills and things that Davenport liked and pretend to be vey responsible and everything that Davenport has wishing he had to get closer as a means to try and get more solid evidence and to reassure his suspicions? Ideas? If you don't like thisone we can always go with the hate vs hate in the classroom and him treating him like crap for being a jokester and prankster as Wentworth could view him as a waste of talent being he's a charms prodigy and what not. We could even role-play that Wentworth was the teacher that Jamie hovered a pie behind so that when he turned around he walked right into it during the middlenof class. So there would be the grudge aas well.

Wentworth and Jamie Wenworth would have nothing against Jamie being a prankster. He enjoys people with a good sense of humor and he himself was prone to mess with some teachers during his years as a student at Hogwarts. His lazyness however, is a different matter. Wasting talent is like the eight deadly sin in his book so that would definitly be a reason for him to look down on Jamie. I think it is entierly reasonable to think Wentworth would be hard on Jamie for this, but deep down Wentworth really likes him. Although it's not common knowledge that Wentworth was suspected of being a dark wizard, it's not impossible for Jamie to have found out about this, or he might have some other reason to suspect him, it's up to you. Either way I'm up for it. I leave Jamie's methods up to you.
