RULES I'll try to keep this short, sweet and to the point.
(ONE) We are an R rated, intermediate site. You must be 13 to join and 17 to roleplay mature topics. All mature topics must be marked with an [M] in the topic.
(TWO) Respect everyone on the site. We're here to have fun, not cause out of character drama. Any disagreements among members should be brought to an admin to be dealt with on a case by case basis. DO NOT post on the site (including the C-Box) about any problems you might have with someone.
(THREE) Stay active! We know you have real life to deal with, but please post at least once a week with each character you have. If your character has not posted within a month, and you are not active on the site, your character will be marked inactive and lose all claims.
(FOUR) There is no character limit, but all character must remain active and each character must have their own account.
(FIVE) No canon Harry Potter characters.
(SIX) Every character needs an avatar. Avatars should be no larger than 180 x 300 px. Signatures are optional, but please do not have them exceed 500 px.
(SEVEN) No word count! But no one-liners either. Try and write a similar length to your partner's post length. Also, no godmodding, chat speak or spam please. Use correct grammar, capitalization and spelling. Also, please write in third person narrative.
(EIGHT) 3 weeks in real life = 1 month in RP life.
(NINE) Professors should be at least 23.
(TEN) Have fun! We're to write and have a good time!

CONSEQUENCES What happens when you break the rules.
(First Offense) The first time a member of staff has to approach you, you will be given a warning to change whatever rule has been broken. If you fail to do so, an admin will be brought into the situation (if not already involved), and they will deal with the situation accordingly. Failure to cooperate can result in a ban if an admin deems it necessary.
(Second Offense) If a member of staff must approach you for a second time, whether for the same or different offense, you will again be issued a warning along with a reminder that this is your second offense and what will happen if you break the rules again (see below). Again, if you fail to cooperate, an admin will be involved in the situation and will deal with said situation accordingly.
(Third Offense) If a member must be approached for breaking the rules for a third time, and admin will immediately be involved and will decide whether or not the member should be suspended or banned.
