This is Thadeus Legion Tarquin the Seventh. A rich boy. A very, very rich boy, his father's not worth crossing. His mother certainly isn't worth crossing and Thadeus tends to take after his parents in most of his behaviour, he's harsh, uncompromising and incredibly condescending, he's argumentative, heavily opinionated and very prideful. Overall he's relatively mean and he has no friends to speak of, no girlfriends, no people he smiles at. He's cold, calculated and if you get on his bad side he'll duel you regardless of the rules. He doesn't tend to lose duels, if only because of the time he spends studying and practising his magic and his words, though even without the study time, he's a fairly formidable mind in his own right. Being both intelligent and calculated, dangerous traits to have in someone who takes offense from a lot of people. Friends. Thadeus doesn't have friends, he doesn't make friends and if he does he tends not to keep them for very long, he probably doesn't like you. His social skills aren't developed at all and he finds almost any sort of small insult incredibly offensive, as well as that he tends to look down on most of the people he attends class with as idiots and incompetent. Lovers. He's terrified of girls. He's not gay, but he doesn't know how to go about ever talking to girls, he has a crush on the headmistress but as posh as he is he doesn't know or have any idea how to talk to a girl let alone ask her to dinner. So he treats them with disdain and a hint of disrespect which only adds to his unsavory reputation. Enemies. Everyone? Feel free to pm me with ideas. |

Kit loves playing with boys, whether it's sexually or mentally, she gets a rush out of it. She likes the fact that Tad, as she calls him, is afraid of her. She knows he is. It's no secret. He's afraid of all girls. And she likes to play on this. She likes to get him all riled up just for the fun of it. She doesn't want to hurt him, she just likes to play. I see the two of them being friends but not actually saying they're friends. Like, if she truly needed someone to talk to, someone NOT in the Slytherin House, I could see her coming to him. Because even though they get on each other's nerves, I think they understand each other. They may not know each other's backgrounds or where they came from completely, but they can understand each other. |

Bess looks at Thadeus as needing guidance. She's probably not the one to give it since she can tell that he isn't very comfortable around women. Perhaps Bess could speak to one of the male professors? She would like to see him break out of his shell and be outgoing, possibly find a girlfriend or at least some guy friends who he could socialize with, but she doesn't want to scare him off, so she doesn't get too close. |

Nic & Thadeus
Nic would actually have a lot of respect for Thadeus, which might come across as surprising to some people. They're both rich. She, too, is condescending and prideful, though she is a bit more diplomatic than he is, and, just like Thadeus, she is an excellent duelist. Usually, with boys, she is very sexual, using her "womenly wiles" and trying to get them into bed with her, or at the very least make them uncomfortable by doing that. However, Nic knows his family and knows that if she were to do anything like that, it would get back to her father - and that's not okay with her. Though they aren't exactly friends, they're friendly with each other.

Well they're both Ravenclaws so they would definitely know each other. Not to mention just the fact that all of Hogwarts, whether they've met him or not, know who he is. I think Jamie would tease Thadeus in a friendly sort of demeanor that Thadeus finds extremely annoying. Jamie has problems with him due to this. He doesn't like how cold, condescending and calculated Thadeus is and to stop himself from absolutely hating him teases him in a joking manner that he would one of his friends or acquaintances. They've butted heads on occasion and being that Jamie is a charms prodigy perhaps they have a past together in which they wound up dueling and it was one of the very rare occasions where Thadeus has lost and he holds a serious grudge against him. Jamie is funny, a rule breaker, a prankster and a complete jokester. I can see them often butting heads and although Thadeus probably can't stand his guts if someone was truly picking on him or getting in his face with intention to go at him Jamie would step in. Even if it was one of his own friends he'd still step in and try to stop it. But I can definitely see arguments being that Jamie is hardheaded and is argumentative but more or less in a joking manner. I was thinking perhaps we could role-play Thadeus overhearing Jamie having a nightmare about his home life in which he's talking in his sleep. Or perhaps we could do two. One where he comes when he's having a nightmare and wakes Jamie up and then Jamie is frazzled and won't tell him what the dream was about and they start getting into a heated argument. Then the second could be Thadeus overhearing him sleep talk and then when Jamie awakens Thadeus is frazzled/freaked out about Jamie's father using the unforgivable curses on him. Perhaps Thadeus won't tell him what he heard at first and then he gets it out of him? They could really butt heads from there or maybe Jamie tries avoiding him?nMaybe Thadeus is caught between telling anybody and is sort of freaked by it all? Maybe then they could reconcile when Thadeus sort of corners him sometime and Jamie tells him he's not ready for people to know and Thadeus respects it realizing how big it is? I think they could unlikely friends though butting heads as enemies often. So frenemies? Ieas?
